We are the Dreamers, Visionaries and Wandering Souls
I belong with the dreamers.
I will always be that person who changes their mind swiftly. My excitement swells like the ocean. I resonate with the wind changing directions. My life is like a boat out at sea, unexpectedly set off course.
I get excited by new ideas and plans. Many of these plans will not come to fruition. Regardless, that is not the point of dreams.
I have lived a thousand lives inside my mind. My dreams take shape like clouds in the sky. Before my eyes they morph into new shapes. Many clouds will pass me by. Some become storms that ravage inside me. Others part entirely to make way for the gleaming sun.
However, once in awhile a dream comes to me that I simply cannot let go. I must chase that dream until it becomes reality. That dream is my compass. I set my sails in the direction of my visions and prepare to brave uncharted waters.
Dreaming is not a waste.
Planning is not a waste.
It means that when I decide something, I know with my whole heart that it is the best course of action. I have allowed my body, mind, and soul to chase every opportunity that comes my way. So, when something that is meant for me presents itself, I feel it envelop my soul.
I immerse myself in the water. All the rivers of my visions bleed into one vast sea of knowing. I drown in the bliss of my truth and grow gills to breathe in the water. One cannot dream without transforming.
The Alchemy of Dreams
I feel into the true nature of things when I dream and become a psychic predicting the future. My visions are like a crystal ball. Like a sorcerer, I can change the outcome of events simply by dreaming, scheming and believing in myself.
It is a strange sort of alchemy to dream. My dreams transport me into a million parallel lives. There is a solar system of realities waiting to become manifest. The cosmos are transfixed by my dedication.
Each unrealized dream rests like a star in the sky, piercing holes in the darkness of the unknown. Don’t you see? Even unrealized dreams expose the light.
Shadows dance atop the milky way and intermix with enlightened plans. Each new decision caresses my life like the rings of Saturn. My life aligns like the planets, circling the sun.
I rest in a body of water. Light from the sun is illuminated in my tidal pools. Like the moon, I reflect back the light.
Come, dance in infinity with me. You will see how visions radiate from your pores like crystalized light. Remember, you are the maker of all things.
Dreamers Are Not Directionless
Can you feel it? The bliss of riding the tidal wave of dreams. Within them, both sea and solar system collide.
I will never apologize for falling into the trance of my visions.
I resurface from the waters of my mind, dripping with dreams. Only then, am I certain which waters are meant for me. After all, I have embodied each one.
I have lived a thousand lives. Many more than are drawn in the lines of my palm. Thousands more than the grains of sand at my shore. Surely, you can see the conviction of my truth.
An Open Letter to the Dreamers Feelings Directionless Right Now
The sailor arrives safely to shore only to miss the sea. Still, the salt lingers on their skin. The sea resides in their soul. This is the alchemy of dreams.
When you set sail into the waters of your mind, you are immersed in truth. Regardless of whether you choose to follow that course of action, you have changed the direction of your life simply by leaving the shore.
No dream is wasted.
When you feel directionless, simply notice the clouds taking shape above you. Watch how they morph into figures and forms before your eyes. When you feel lost, simply wade in the sea. Notice how even your stagnant feet become embedded in the sand, with the ebb and flow of the tide.
We will always change our minds and get excited by new plans and ideas. There are those who believe plans to be finite but we know, like the churning cosmos and the starlight sea, dreams are infinite.
So let us dream and fall into the bliss of wonder. The milky way is churned by a thousand unknowns. Still, with open eyes and steady hearts we can witness the beauty of the sky and the steadfast sea.
Let us dream and fall into slumber until the universe collides with our visions. Then, and only then, will we wake from sleep and live our visions.
